My deepest sympathies to Gary’s family on his passing. Gary was a truly decent gentleman. My father Ted, used to say that “his cousin Gary” used to send him the first Christmas card each year. Two years ago, Emmet was starting to slip a bit, as was my father and Gary traveled down to visit them. His effort meant a lot to both. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as Gary starts his eternal life. May He Rest In Peace.

Gary was one of nature's gentlemen. Ever since he had an eye operation some years ago he made it his duty and privilege to go into the Eye & Ear to reassure folk who were about to have a similar op and the comfort and reassurance he brought you'll never know.
