My heartfelt condolences are with Gabby’s family and Sean during this difficult time. I was fortunate enough to have worked alongside Gabby as a graduate and I will miss her warmth and kindness deeply. Her brilliance, talent and compassion will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

Thinking of the family and Sean at this incredibly tough time, I know that Gabby loved you all deeply. Gabby was a fellow Microsoft graduate and never ceased to amaze me with her selflessness and willingness to help others. She was a warm and kind person and touched the lives of many. I bumped into Gabby at a cycling competition in my home village of Blackrock, Co. Louth last summer and was able to observe first hand how energised she was by her sport. We will carry Gabby in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace

My most heartfelt condolences to Gabby's partner, family and friends. I didn't know Gabby very well but from talking with colleagues I can tell she was a brilliant person. My brief interaction with Gabby was through the STEM Passport for Inclusion project. She was a mentor to a group of teenage girls that I was teaching and I would see them after their conversations with her with smiles on their faces and enthusiasm for what they had learnt or discussed with her. For those, and no doubt for many, her impact will be forever. May she rest in peace. x

A close friend of mine is a cyclist who has trained and raced alongside beautiful Gabby. She often mentioned Gabby’s name as someone who was modest, kind and incredibly talented. To Gabriele's family and his partner Sean, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of Gabriele. I am in shock and sadness on hearing this news, so are her other MS colleagues. We worked very closely, and I have learnt a lot from her in my early days at Microsoft. She has had a huge impact on her peers and juniors. She was an amazing, cheerful and hard-working person and I feel it is so unfortunate and unfair that this happened. I joined Gabriele's team at Microsoft last year and was lucky to sit beside her for a number of hours and get to know her a little at a team event last Christmas. During those few hours, she told me her story of moving to Ireland from Lithuania, how she took up cycling, how she shared this passion with her partner, Sean. I remember feeling a strong sense of respect and admiration for all that she had achieved already at such a young age and how humble she was about it all. Her bright smile is unforgettable and I hope that the memory of it will give some comfort to all who loved her. Rest in peace Gabby.

To the parents of Gabriele, her siblings and loving partner Seán, I am so saddened and shocked to hear of Gabriele’s passing. Gabriele and I first crossed paths when she was interviewing for Microsoft - I had the pleasure of interviewing her and sharing the news that we wanted her to join our team as a Microsoft graduate. I’ll never forget how delighted, sincere and appreciative she was but really the honour and privilege was ours! I was so excited to return from maternity leave to meet her and work along side her and for over a year Gabby and I worked side by side - I was always in awe at her level of professionalism - she put 100% into everything, but above all she was such a kind and warm person who had the most beautiful smile and soul. I always enjoyed the start of our calls where we discussed life and she absolutely lit up when she spoke of cycling and was so proud yet humble about her achievements. Rest in peace dear Gabby and be assured your smile and gentle kind ways will never ever be forgotten - in your short life you have made your mark on so many.
