I am sorry to hear of Aunty Gay's passing. That is lovely photo of her, showing her lovely smile that I remember well. She alway's made us welcome when we visited and I have many happy memories of Ballycoree. My thoughts are with Susan, Edward, Maura and Jimmy during this difficult time.

Sincere condolences to cousins Edward, Susan, Maura & Jimmy. Such a long time ago now, but I have lovely memories of childhood trips to Ballycoree. Nana and her caged birds, so many chickens . . . , Uncle John Joe generously slipping tenners when we were leaving, Edward always up to something newsworthy and Auntie Gay welcoming us so warmly when we arrived, sending someone out for bread and ham to feed the masses and then praising us kids to the heavens for the slightest thing. Real and rare hospitality for unexpected visitors. A lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
