Shocked to hear of Gar passing. We had great times playing ball on the corner of mellows road, and Darts at my mam's over Christmas every year. RIP lad.

My deepest condolences to all the Emmet family. Never any bad things to say when Gary came in to visit in my job. He'd just come in call my name out and i'd come out and just stand there for 20-30 sec and just look at each other and then break out laughing. Always had a smile on his face and glad to see you. This is the gary i new and will remember. Sad loss. Rest in peace.

We are absolutely devastated at Gary's sudden passing. Gutted 😢💔 Gone way too young. He was such a lovely fella, so musically talented and creative. He'd never pass you by - we'll never forget his huge smile and infectious laugh. We have such good memories of Gary. He was a little charmer, talk a starving dog out of a butchers. He's in the afterlife now with 'Big' George and his beloved mother Helen.

I have a beloved memory of being 6 years old and running down a hill. With sudden horror I realised I couldn’t stop and there was a lake at the bottom. Cousin Gary noticed and bravely jumped in front of me to slow me down and avoid me going into the water. He landed heavy and I landed on top of him. He softened my blow. He had a gentle heart. ❤️

Gary was an absolute gentleman. A very kind soul. I’m saddened to hear of his passing. Rest in peace. Condolences to Gary’s daughter and family.
