I am very sad to hear of the death of dear Garry. I had the pleasure of working with him in IRMG and Aon for many years. He was a caring and wonderful boss and always a gentlemen. We had many fun times and our shared love of rugby provided us with endless hours of chat.

Ah my dear friend left us softly … as he lived his life … unassuming, gentle but brave beyond measure as he faced his challenges throughout his whole life more especially in the latter years. Gary was a man of integrity in all his dealings and relationships and therefore he was loved and respected by all. But he always had that boyish humour which endeared him to everyone he met. In his sporting life he could meet with triumph and disaster but treat these two imposters just the same . He will be sorely missed by his many friends but none more so than his beloved Marjorie his children and grandchildren to whom I send my sincere condolences. ‘Safely home me lad’ !

So sorry to learn of the sad passing of , mo chara, Gary. As a former board member of IPB I remember Gary as a member whose knowledge and professional approach to all matters fiscal was second to none, additionally, he had all the great qualities one would wish to see in all humankind. We would always greet each other with, a couple Focal and also in parting.

I was saddened when I heard of Garrys passing and my Sincere Sympathies go to Marjorie and their family. I had the pleasure of working with Garry in Sun Alliance Insurance. He was a good colleague, friend and a cunning poker player. Sadly, I will be unable to attend his Funeral Mass.
