We were shocked to learn of Garry’s death. We did our time on the parents’ committees of Sandford National and Sandford Park. She was a great cake-maker and decorator. Condolences to the boys, most of whom shared classes with our guys.

Our deepest condolences to the Humphries and Simpson families. Our late parents, Roughan and Gladys were very close friends of Bob and Pat Humphries and we as small children spent a lot of time at Deerpark and Leixlip. As we grew up we shared holidays in Ballybunion and Roundstone. In later life we remain close. It saddens us not to be able to celebrate Garry’s life at this time but you will all be in our thoughts and prayers over the coming days.

We had great fun having a sneaky G and T when St. John was born in Holles Street in Oct. 1988. My Alan born on same day. Garry was great fun to be around. Sincere condolences to The Simpson children. and especially St. John.

With wonderful memories from the days of Seals Rock and Guerteen Beach to last summer, Garry always had a wonderful sense of humour. We'll miss you Garry.

Garry fought a great fight. So glad to have bumped into her in the Blackrock Clinic 3 weeks ago( smoking a cigarette). Very happy memories of our times together in Lisney, and her generous hospitality. A bright light has gone out.
