Maria I only found out about Gary passing this evening before the news when his photo was shown. I cant tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. I can only imagine how you and your family must be feeling. He was a lovely person. My prayers and thoughts are with you

Marie, Billy, Alan, Nicola, Alex and Jack. My condolences to you. A sad day when we said goodbye to Gary. I am shocked, sad and empty but I can't imagine how you are feeling. As long as I have known Gary he has brought a tear to my eye. Last Thursday it was tears of sadness, but most times they were tears of.laughter and joy. With that cheeky smile and the sense of mischief it was hard not to laugh with him. When I met with Gary or even spoke to him it was always a pleasure and never a chore. He was a true gentleman and a mighty warrior, but this was just a battle too many. For now, his faith will show him the way and thankfully that means that we will see him again. He will still bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye every day. A friend to the end. Never forgotten.

Dear Marie, and family. I’m so sorry to hear the devastating news of your lovely Gary’s passing. He battled beyond the limits of what anyone should have to endure. The bravery he showed throughout would inspire anyone. It’s also a true refelection of the wonderful family he had around him that he could have fought so hard for so long. My deepest condolences to Gary's family. Gary was an amazing person, such a naturally likeable guy, with a wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor that I'll truly miss. He was quite simply a great fella who was immensely popular, and liked by everyone. The service for him today was lovely given the current social distancing rules. I went to college with Gary and although we weren’t the best of friends I always felt that I could count on him. He was truly an amazing person whose like got taken from him too early, he should be at the stage where he’s still inspiring people and making them do better...as he did for me!
