I’m so saddened to have learned today of Gavin’s passing. I knew Gavin during his days in Dublin. We spent many an evening together in Grogans. Sending deepest condolences to his family and friends. May he Rest In Peace.

With much sadness I have learned of the passing of Gavin . To Ann ,Colman and all family my sincere sympathy.

I was so sad to hear about Gavin. I only knew him briefly in Dublin many years ago but I will always remember his big warm smile, his irrepressible humour and how kind he was. Just a lovely man.

Gavin was the greatest friend, confidant and ally a person could wish for growing up - he was always there for everyone, absolutely selfless in everything he did, and absolutely loved by all those lucky enough to know him. His talents were boundless, but yet he had his special way of threading the Earth lightly, radiating his happiness and unique energy which he appeared to be born with.
