I was listening to Mass this morning from Haggardstown on the “web cam” and heard the priest praying for Gay. I had not heard of his death. He was a very nice man. May he Rest In Peace.

Breda phoned this evening to tell me the sad news. I am really really sorry for all of you, that a lovely man has passed away. May he rest in peace.
Gay and yourself and Kay and I had some great times and a lot of laughs back in the 70s. Yer man's shouted rude comments to me, before I even got a chance to ring the doorbell, on my last visit, will live with me forever, as will his humour and wit. At least he had the decency to "move on" at this dreadful time, and to spare all of us outsiders the inconvenience of a funeral. !!!
