Dear Trish, so sorry to learn of the sudden death of your husband Gearoid. Deepest sympathies to you and your family. May Gearoid’s soul rest in peace.

We were so shocked and sorry to hear the news of Gearoid's passing – we first met Gearoid and Trish in Dusseldorf, Germany and have lovely memories of visiting them in Blackrock after returning to Ireland. Gearoid was a unique character, never to be forgotten and will be so sadly missed. Sending our deepest condolences and much love to Trish and the family, Annette and Neil (Malahide, Dublin).

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, and for the world to lose such a genuinely kind and good person as Gearóid.

Gearóid was exceptionally good to my dad, Shane, when he was sick and in Our Lady’s Hospice. They were in Clongowes together and Gearóid came up to Dublin and brought Dad out for lunch and for a walk in Dun Laoghaire. My family and I will never forget his kindness.

I just heard the news of Gearoid's passing - I offer my sincere condolences to all his family - I knew Gearoid back in primary school in JFK limerick and we were pals for a while - an absolute gentleman and lovely guy who will be missed terribly by all who knew him- RIP Gearoid 🙏

It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of Gearóid.

What started as a business relationship soon became a friendship.
We laughed a lot together and i could always turn to him for advice. We shared many moments together that i will always cherish.
What i will miss most is the warmth,humour and genuine interest that Gearóid always showed in others. He had the ability to make people special, even at times when he was struggling himself.
Although the loss is heavy, I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with Gearóid. Those memories will remain in my heart forever

Truly saddened to hear the passing of Gearóid in such tragic circumstances.
We were friends a long long time ago when I was a student working in Ireland. I never forgot all the fun we had and the kind and generous person Gearóid was. We also spent time skiing in my native country, France, again, such fun times and memories.
