Deepest sympathies to Sean and all of Gemma’s family. I was very saddened to learn that Gemma had passed away. For many years, Gemma and I sang in the church choir together and we had such memorable times both on Thursday evenings at rehearsals and at 12 o’clock mass on Sundays. May her gentle soul fly with the best of angels and may the choirs in heaven welcome their new member. RIP

Our sincere condolences to Sean, John, Gerard, Regina Patricia, Alison and all Gemma's extended and deeply loved family. Gemma was an important piece of ones life's jigsaw - a piece that cannot be replaced but will be remembered for ever. Meeting Gemma was always something to look forward to, notwithstanding the fact that most of them occurred at one of our mutual friends' obsequies. That said Gemma always had a friendly and positive out look on everything and close family information from here and abroad was always delivered with machine gun speed and not a little humour - always with Sean acting as sentinel an number one supporter. Clearly her life was not wasted and the good she delivered for family and the local community will leave an indelible mark on all of us. Sweet dreams Gemma. RIP

So sorry to hear of Gemma's passing. She and Sean were great friends with our parents Betty and Christy and loved by everyone at No 23 Glencarraig. So many great memories of fabulous parties and great sing songs which went long into the night. When mam got sick, both Gemma and Sean were unbelievable with the care and love they showed mam and our family are eternally grateful. She was truly a remarkable lady.

Gemma was very supportive of me when we both stood in the parish council election and then worked together when we were both elected onto the first parish council in Sutton. She gave so much to the parish and it was always fun when Gemma was present. On my wedding day I met Gemma before I walked down the isle.
