Valerie and Family,
Our hearts are heavy to hear of Gene’s passing. We often think of you both and talk about the wonderful time we had during our trip to Ireland. If Gene hadn’t recommended it, we probably would have missed touring Newgrange. We’re sure he probably visited it many times but made sure to take us. It was so intriguing. We often laugh at how composed he was when Jim would drive and Gene in his very calm voice whispered, “Jimmy, Jimmy … the other side of the road.” Our prayers go out to you and hope you find peace in the beautiful memories he created.
