My sincerest condolences to Geoffs' nearest and dearest at this time. I worked with BMA as a student in 2006 and returned most recently in 2020. He has been an unwavering support. My earliest conversations with Geoff instilled a passion for Architecture and life which have stayed with me over the years. He will be hugely missed.

As a former and fellow colleague, chance but frequent meetings on the street saw us delight in irreverence. His “rogue” schtick will be sadly missed, he loved to delight in being maverick,but intelligently so.

I was truly shocked and saddened to learn of Geoff’s passing earlier today. I know he, and his practice with Russell, was well respected within the Planning & Building Unit of the Department, and in particular by his Professional & Technical colleagues, of which I was one. It is with shock and great sadness that we learned of Geoff’s passing. We were due to meet with Geoff on Friday night last and thought that a change of venue was coming when Eoin O'Neill
(MBP quantity surveyors) called - completely shocked with the news of his call. We have worked with Geoff for many years going back to the ORSA days and had many good nights out since (especially in Dennehy's pub on the coal quay). Geoff was an excellent Architect, a great design team member and always great company. He will be missed. We send our sincere sympathies to his family, to Russell and his colleagues.
