Farewell Geoffrey on this Sunday that you had booked to be in your native Galway watching your favourite rugby team, Connacht. Instead, you are in a better place. You were my first First Cousin and I'll never forget the day you brought me to Lansdowne Road in 1969 to see Manchester United's Best, Law and Charlton in their pomp. Marian and I may be unable to attend your funeral, but we will visit your family and your grave when we can.
