George was always most courteous to me on the many occasions that I visited the Hardware Store in Langford Street, when I was teaching at Killorglin Community College. He would engage with me on the merits or otherwise of any items that I might be purchasing. He was a perfect gentleman,. Remembering you all in our prayers at this very difficult time.
