My thoughts and prayers are with the extended Clarke family on the loss of George. I have such good memories of him: from his time as Development Officer in Trinity, and especially from his long and devoted period of service to the Dublin University Far Eastern Mission. The DUFEM gatherings that George and Rosemary hosted in Vesey Park, welcoming overseas visitors, were particularly notable!
I was so sorry to hear of George’s death. My late husband Trevor and George travelled together to Probus for a long time and I knew him too. Such a true gentleman, and good friend. My deepest sympathies to all his family.
