In my visits home to Donegal, I stayed with Monica and my brother-in-law George. Some wonderful treasured memories of great times spent reminiscing, catching up on all the news and playing cards etc. George loved his game of cards, and I can hear that happy laugh as he was winning. It was a great way to pass a wet afternoom and good fun. He missed his golf in recent times. It was always a homely welcome with a smile, the tea, the chat and plenty of good wholesome food.
George was a true gentleman, quiet spoken and kind.
Although no words can really help ease the loss you bear, may your wonderful loving memories of great times shared with George provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead and help you all cope with your loss now and always. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
