So sad to see that George is no longer with us. Such a joy and honour to have met and had conversations with George. Kindness and intelligence personified.
Rest in Peace George.

My uncle George inspired me to adventure and explore, as a little girl I was fascinated by his trip to China in the 1980s. Honest, humble, kind and generous, he led an exemplary life. Always thoughtfull, he gave me a lovely biography of Florence Nightingale. He will be missed, RIP George.

Helena, David and family, so sad to hear of George’s passing. What an amazing man always learning and passing on his knowledge. I will miss seeing him walking by on ferrybank. Rest in peace George.
