I feel very privileged to have known Georgie for over thirty-five years and to have shared a very special friendship with him through music. George's place in the history of Irish Folk music in his beloved Dublin is assured and cherished, as is his memory.

It was with great sadness we've learned of the death of Georgie he will be missed i'm sure ! not least for his brillient comical ditties which were loved so much by his mutitudes of friends .R.I.P George . Is féidir leat a chanadh leis an aingeal.
