I’m so sorry to hear the passing of George.
I will truly miss George parking himself right in front of what ever band was playing in Ahernes but always had the time to say hello to myself and Rebecca and everyone else for that matter, he had time for everyone.
Music, at its essence, is what gives us memories.
Rest in paradise, dear friend.

As a kid growing up in Home Villas, I would see George every morning on his way to work. I think that was where he was going.
Everyone knew George. We all said hello to him and he would say hello back. I remember how he would tilt his head to look at you and raise his arm in acknowledgment. He always seemed happy. How many of us can say that!
There was beautiful innocence to George that I only appreciate now that I’m an adult. Seeing his picture today has moved me in a way that I didn’t expect. I’m smiling and at the same time I’m welling up. That’s a measure of the person he was and how he touched those he leaves behind.
