My deepest condolences to Patti and family on the very sad passing of George. I just heard this sad news today. George was a good pal of my Dad's and of his sister, Mary, who passed recently, both ex AIF. George said recently enough that they had great craic in Galway and Dublin. George, and young George, did me a most wonderful favour a few short years ago when my brother died. I will forever remember their kindness. I hope that you find comfort in each other and in your many wonderful memories of George.

Our most sincere condolences on the death of our good friend George.. we have only just heard of the news and are so sorry to have missed George’s funeral. He was a most sincere friend and more importantly a great Tipp supporter and co conspirator.. all those semis and finals to think over.. and more importantly what great neighbours! Dear Patti and family, sincere condolences on George's passing. He will be greatly missed by so many - he always had a great sense of humour and a glint in his eye. He died 9 years after Dad ( Paddy Butler) with only a day between them. I'm sure they're having a large G&T together wherever
