George was a wonderful man—my father's first cousin, a true Wexford gentleman through and through. The town has lost a great character, and his family has lost a genuinely kind soul who will be deeply missed. I will always remember his warmth and humour. Our deepest condolences to Kathleen, Brian, Emma, Sean, Phyllis, Anne and family.

Kathleen you and George were a package, not only will he be a huge loss to you and your family he will be a huge loss to the community and all who had the privilege to have known him.
