My deepest sympathy to all George’s family, I met your dad and mam in Collon active retirement group many times we went on lovely trips, your dad loved taking the photos.. he was a gentlemen, very good friends with my mam Maureen, they were on Collon committee together.. he will be very sadly missed by all, but hopefully now he is reunited with his beloved Monica.. May George rest in peace..

Dear George.

You were like a father to me after i lost my own in 2001. I couldn't have asked for a better Father in law. You were the most caring and generous man with your time and energy I've ever met and were so kind and welcoming to me from the start.

You minded and cared for my own children with such love, i am forever greatful to you. All your grandchildren absolutely adore you. You were an amazing Son, Father, Husband, Brother, Father in law, Grandfather, Neighbour and Friend to so many. A complete original and genuine soul, the life of any party and the humour to match.

Rest in peace with Monica now and be together again. I will carry out my promise to you to mind your daughter and grandkids for the rest of my days.

All my love to you George, you will be forever missed but never forgotten by everyone that was lucky to have know you.
