George called to Costello’s house
( Sherlock Park , the Cabra ) in early July 1965 looking for Fran to work on Plants farm , Baldungan.
Fran was working elsewhere .
Mrs Costello (RIP) sent George to next door Neighbours, the O ‘ Shea’s.
My mother (RIP ) called me ( I was playing Cowboys etc ) and asked me did I want to go and pick Potatoes .
Off I went and I worked with George , Johhny and Robin (RIP all ) each Summer ( and some cold and snow blown Christmas winters) till 1972 .
Great times , money for the pictures and all that.
Nice people to work for .
All the characters who worked there from the Cabra :my Brother Bob (RIP), Mrs Hughes (RIP) , Bock(RIP) , Eamon Branagan(RIP), Pat and Martin Ellis , Noelie Shiels , Owen Branagan ,

I have fond memories of George, a kind man , and the Plant Families .
Remembering George’s Mother, also Valerie and Daughter, and Margaret .
