George was always a pleasure to deal with, obliging and fair with a focus on passengers, one of life's gentlemen who love for his family was apparent. In times past, I enjoyed many a conversation on many topics when we both should have been working. RIP

He was a Kilkee man true and true but also a great Clare supporter. He was a great character, full of fun and loved the craic. An absolute gentleman.
Sorry I was unable to make the funeral.

What a wonderful tribute to Georgie at his funeral mass today. He was amazing man at his long age in all he achieved in his long hard working life and his amazing contribution to the GAA. He was a proud Kilkee GAA man and a friend to so many . His son Noel’s eulogy spoke volumes of who he was and is . May Georgie rest in eternal peace
