Very sorry to hear about George’s passing. He was always a friendly face and a listening ear behind the bar at Larry Murphys where I got to know him. Rest in peace George.

George was a great friend, made us feel like family from our time in Larry Murphys, his gifts for our children, and his time for us all were fantastic. Will be greatly missed. A fellow fan of music, loved out chats - Anthony (Booster).

We were so sorry to hear of George's untimely passing. We got to know George when he worked in Rosie O'Gradys. He collected thimbles for his Mum & anytime we were away we would bring a thimble from that country back. Deepest Condolences to all his family. May George's gentle soul rest in peace 🙏

To Brian and all the Rock family I was deeply saddened and shocked when I heard the news of George’s passing.
Many a time I would cut George’s hair in Roches barbers . Whenever he came through the door of the shop he would always bring with him that wonderful smile that he always seem to wear. He was a lovely gentle guy.
