I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a great doctor. My mother who recently passed away was a patient of his. We all really enjoyed our visits to him and my mom had a little secret crush on him. Smile. May they rest in peace together in heaven

I am blessed to have had George’s friendship since 1980. I first met while he worked in the University Hospital in Cork. He relocated to the UK in 1981 and subsequently to Los Angeles. After moving to the USA, George kept in touch with family and friends and we all greatly looked forward to his annual visits to Ireland & the UK. He remained positive and worked until recently despite almost 5 years of major health problems.
Our condolences to his family and friends. There must be a special place in heaven for George - RIP.
