Such sad news, the laughter and fun we had in the pubs and bars around Wimbledon and South London will be treasured memories, so many wonderful stories. God bless you George and love to you Bronagh.

Sending condolences and much love to Bronagh and George's family. Many happy memories of George over the years and I was sorry that we lost touch once he moved to Ireland but he was often in my thoughts. RIP George.

Bronagh I was shocked and sad to hear of Georges passing. Such happy memories of our times together in London. He was so much fun to be with and endless debates, i never won. I will raise a glass to good times.

So sad to hear of Georges pasing we had such fun working together at MGM in the States he was the most fun, intelligent, sarcastic person i ever worked with. Caught up 3 years ago when i visited Ireland nothing had changed the same smart guy i knew in the 80s. Rest well old friend.

George was the epitomy of the cheeky, cheerful, working class Londoner. Met him in 1983 when worked together at C.Itoh and was the first one from our London/Warwick University group to do so - so a lot of what happened next was probably my fault!
Loved riding in his battered Ford Capri/mobile ashtray, loved how much he liked cricket even though he was rubbish at it LOL! One of the best drinking buddies i ever had.
We lost touch in recent years but i know he was so happy in Ireland with the wonderful Bronagh.
Will miss you mate, God bless
