I first met George when we shared a bus run for a local organisation and then again, many years later as facilitator with SHEP..
George was always the perfect gentleman and displayed a great sense of humour, no matter the context.
His insights as a facilitator were transformative and I thank you George for all that you brought to that role.
May you rest in peace.

You have always been my hero, & I have always loved you & felt love from you, even if those words were rarely said between us.

I’m proud of the man & father I’ve become, a reflection of how you raised me, giving me freedom to explore & never forcing beliefs on me.
It’s no coincidence we arrived at so many of the same philosophical conclusions, & that we shared the same favourite Guru (Sadhguru) & Neuroscientist (David Eagleman).

I knew of your life’s work as a psychotherapist, but only since your passing have I realised how many people you helped & mentored, & how much you did for Mahon, Blackrock & Cork.
I look forward to discovering your untold story through friends, colleagues, & SHEP-ards who knew the many versions of you.

My deepest condolences to all the family. I am truly saddened by the loss of George and have a real heavy heart these past few days. But knowing him has made such a massive impact on me. I am so grateful to have known George the past few years, as one of his clients and as a trainee therapist. His presence, knowledge, wisdom, empathy, acceptance, insight and curiosity along with his humour and much more has helped me on my journey and will have a lasting impact on me and in my life. I will miss him terribly. It was good to be present in celebrating his life at his funeral and seeing him off on the next part of his journey.
