From the day I first met Georgia, (when she pulled up at my gate & suggested going to the Dock for a drink) her company was interesting, inspiring, thought provoking, spiced with infectious laughter. Her zest for life … sometimes difficult to keep up with! … was wonderful. Age was just a number.
When needed she gently shared her sound wisdom and advice on medical physio matters … practical invaluable tips.
She appreciated and loved nature and … we shared a crush on ‘Monty Don’ and his gardening program.
After we attended a Free Choice Consumer Group meeting, and learnt about the plans to incinerate potentially recycleable materials, Georgia was an avid supporter of KEW (a group we formed) opposed to destructive incineration of municipal ‘waste’.
An highlight of the week was the Kinsale farmers Mrkt and the wonderful stall holders, the great food and the banter.
I will sadly miss Georgia, RIP, this colourful, larger than life person, a pleasure and a privilege to have known.
Most of all … Georgia’s love & immense pride in her family was boundless. My heartfelt sympathy to all of them.

My condolences to Georgia’s family - I was fortunate to visit her at KCH with South Union Hunt on St Patrick’s day just 2 weeks ago and Georgia was so delighted to touch the horses and she inspected each horse and each ones hunting attire with very honest remarks maybe a little too honest ! lol
