I am a son of Phyllis Spierin (nee Young) and on her behalf I express her deep regret at Georgie's death what a wonderful generation of men and women they are. May Georgie rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Georgie. She was a lovely, kind and gentle lady and I always enjoyed our chats. She will be sadly missed. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. May Georgie Rest in Peace.

Fond memories of dear Georgie who was not only my late mother, Una’s first cousin but also a great friend to her. She was such a lively character, full of fun and positivity. She was kind, inspirational and had a great sense of humour. Deepest sympathy to all the Flanagan family who I know will miss her dearly. Due to the current 5k travel restriction, I’m so sorry I can’t be there with you to pay my respects . May Georgie’s gentle soul rest in peace.

We live in Georgina's old house - she was a generous lady to us and it was a pleasure to meet her. We were looking forward to having her up to the house again before covid happened - and were still looking forward to it until now. Thanks to her for a wonderful home. We had a daughter last week - the first in my family for over a hundred years (!) - it's nice that herself and Georgina at least shared some time on the planet here together though a shame they couldn't meet. Take care Georgina, and all the best to her family and many friends.

May Georgina rest in peace. I have so many memories of “Georgie” over the past 50 years during my time on St. Ignatius Rd. Georgie was universally on this road, one and all knew her. For me, she was a dear friend. I will miss our night chats on the phone, us both having a “wee dram” and just chatting. Take care Georgie,,,

Fond memories today of a truly remarkable lady. Georgina was an inspiration to us all. Her joie de vivre and wonderful energy made her a pleasure to be around. Jetting off to the Canary Islands, Birmingham, dinner and theatre in town or shopping on Grafton Street. People watching from a cafe window. She overcame a significant obstacle from an early age and set about enjoying life, bringing happiness and kindness to others along the way. Georgina spoke so fondly of family and friends gone before her. My wish is that she is reunited with them in heaven, enjoying exquisite peace and rest that she so very much deserves.

Rest eternal grant unto her O Lord and let light perpetual shine upon her forever. Amen.
