I am so sorry for the loss of auntie Geraldine; my heart is with you all in this difficult time. She will be missed more than words can express. She will forever hold a place in my heart. Her shoulder was a beautiful, warm, comforting place upon which I often laid my woes, troubles and secrets, on Geraldine, I knew I could always rely. I am so sorry to hear about your loss Matt. Geraldine and I threaded the boards in The Hawks Well on several occasions. She was such a fine singer and great fun, She saw the best in everyone and was always ready for a laugh.

It was a pleasure to have known her, a truly lovely lady.

Auntie Ger was a beautiful woman inside and out. I will never forget your visits to New York, going up in the Empire State Building, going to see Cats and her introducing me to Oliver Twist. Or our visits to Sligo where she always welcomed us with such kindness and warmth. She exuded warmth and love every moment and I'm so glad I got to see her on my last visit to Sligo. My heart is with all of you during this heartbreaking time. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.
