I was sorry to hear of Ger's passing I worked with Ger for many years in RPA & TII. Condolences to his wife and family.

I would often meet him out walking the dogs when I lived in Glenageary heights as well, and had plenty of great chats with him, especially after his retirement from TII. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Ger's passing. We worked together in CIÉ many years ago. Ger was in charge of European Affairs and replaced Richard Aungier, who died recently. Ger was a very pleasant work colleague, very easy to talk to. He told me about his Waterford connections. Leaba aige i measc na naomh.

Deepest sympathies to Kate and the Hannon family. I studied Engineering with Ger in UCC, back then he was street wise and mischievous beyond his young age! Ger was always up for the chat, with a story for all occasions and a born optimist, ‘It’s going to be a great year’. Always enjoyed our UCC class reunions catching up with all.
