Ger was a gentleman to deal with and always very helpful.

I am privileged to say that I was once a very good friend of Ger we lived a couple of doors apart for a time and we went to the same school most days together and we were among the first punks in Limerick where Ger's love of music flourished, my family then moved and we lost touch over the years but I will never forget the times we shared from Plassey to the FCA and the music concerts. To Linda,Ian, Emmett and the whole McNamara family we offer our deepest condolences for your sad loss

My most sincere condolences to Ger's immediate and extended family, ye hav lost an absolute gentleman. I played soccer with Ger many moons ago with Sherbourne and what I most remember about him was that he was always in good form. Ger always had a smile for everyone.....even when we lost. Ger will leave a great void in the lives of anybody who had the pleasure of knowing him, but we are all the better for having crossed his path at one point in his journey.
