Ger was a beautiful. friendly, chatty person. She was always smiling. We had the pleasure of meeting her when Kasey attended Naíonra. She was so proud of her children and always did her best to support them.

Josh and Kasey, we are so heartbroken for ye both on the loss of yer wonderful beautiful Mam Ger. She was always so proud of ye both and we know she would have been so proud of ye both over the last few days, especially at her funeral. The lovely words ye spoke and the way ye conducted yerselves were a credit to yerselves and to Ger. I know ye will both continue to make her more proud of ye both going forward 💞
To Mary, Dermot, Catherine,Sinead, Pauline and Keith, ye have lost the glue that held it all together, but I know ye will take great comfort knowing that Ger is back in the arms of her beloved Dad( after all we all know she really was a Daddy’s girl) Ye all did Ger so proud at the wonderful send off ye gave her, it was no more than she deserved.

Sincere condolences to Josh, Kasey, Mary and Ger’s family and wide circle of friends. We are so heartbroken for you all on the loss of Ger. She was a beautiful person, the kindest and most positive person. A wonderful and loving mother who was so proud of you both, Josh and Kasey.

We are very grateful that our paths crossed through basketball in Lusk. Ger was an incredible support to the U14 girls’ team and many a sideline was shared with her as she cheered on, not only Kasey, but all of the girls in a special way that only she could. Her enthusiasm and positivity was contagious and this filtered through when she decided that the time had come to set up Lusk Ravens Social (aka vintage) Ladies team.

We loved Ger and she was truly a joy to know. Some people enter your life for a reason and Ger certainly made all the difference to ours. We will all miss her so much. The sidelines and training will never be the same without her there but we will honour and remember Ger and will carry her always in our hearts.

Kasey please know that your basketball family in Lusk will forever be here for you whenever you need us♥️
