My sincere condolences to all the Daly family on the sad passing of Gerry.
He was considered a legend in the life of BGE Cork staff. Such a lovely gentleman. He will be sadly missed.

My Condolences to the family of Gerry. I had the honour of taking over the kitchen in Gas Works Road when Gerry was retireing. I spent 2 weeks working with him in the kitchen as he slowly released the reins Gerry was a gentlemen and an excellent Chef.

He had the ability to 'make your day'. Everyone was fascinated at how he could recall hundreds of names!! He was sorely missed when he retired from Bord Gais, so I can only imagine how much you will all miss him. May Gerry rest in perfect peace.
