I'm deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Gerry's death . My thoughts are with Auntie Annie and the family at this time .. so many memories flood to mind when I think of him . The times my family visited the house that was a bustle of activity with kids and laughter . Uncle Gerry showed love and kindness to all he met and had a softness in his manner that always warmed your heart . The book of poetry that he published will be a wonderful reminder of his thoughts and ideas that we were lucky to have shared. My kids reminded me that he always had a wonderful gift that he would give you when you visited ..one of them still hangs in the car .. loved and forever missed .xx

It's so difficult to think of a world without my Uncle Gerry. I am heart broken. But he will always be an inspiration to me to live in the moment and to find joy in everyday simple things. He was such a creative soul. I have wonderful memories of his visits here in Canada with Auntie Anne. And also my visits to Ireland and seeing him in his element, writing poetry, or just spending time with family having a cuppa and finding humour in life. Sending out lots of hugs and love to family. Condolences to Ann and her family on the death of Gerald may he rest in peace
I am so sad to hear of Gerry's passing. He was a very special person. He was like a brother to me. The expression that comes to mind is "he was one in a million". There we're so many good things about him. He was a blessing to us all and will be dearly missed. Love Rita
Sincere sympathies to you Emer and to your family on the loss of your Dad, Grainne
