From Greece: We are truly sorry to lose a wonderful and caring neighbour. Our fond memory of Gerry is his wide smile as he worked on his JCB here on the lane. A true and elegant gentleman, who shared good humour, and always asked after us all. We will miss him greatly and we send our sympathy to you Mary and the family. May he rest in peace.

A true gentleman and an honour to be called his friend. Thank you Gerry for giving me so many fond memories to look back on when I think of my own dear parents. The early starts to get the ponies ready for the shows on a cold winters morning and watching you and dad share a glass at the end of the day proud of your winnings. I will always remember your positivity and jovial humour. You kept the dance floors polished over the years with the lovely Mary by your side and were a joy to watch.
