I was deeply saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. He was a wonderful friend, colleague and mentor for many years, and a true gentleman. I have so many wonderful memories of working with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to all of Gerry's family at this sad time. I had the pleasure of being on the same senior school's team back in 1966 when St. Mary's lifted the schools cup in which Gerry played a pivotal role. May he rest in peace.

Very sorry to learn of Gerry’s passing. While I lost contact with him when I moved to England in the mid 70s, we soldiered together as Scout Leaders in St Mary’s Scout Unit over a number of years and were close friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Carmel and his extended family at this difficult time

It was always a pleasure to meet Gerry at class reunions. Gerry was a superb rugby player and team mate who scored a memorable winning try in a Leinster Schools SCT cup final at Lansdowne Road for St. Mary’s College in 1966. He will be greatly missed. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
