On behalf of the staff and students of St. Paul's Secondary School, I extend our deepest sympathies on the sudden passing of Ms Watters. My thoughts and prayers are with Ger's family.
As a teacher of Maths, Science and Biology, Learning Support, and later as Coordinator of Transition Year and SEN, Ger always put students first. She strove to ensure that through TY in particular, our students had every opportunity to develop their potential and discover their strengths.
Ger's dedication to young people, her commitment to inclusive education, and her tireless work in creating opportunities for all learners will remain a lasting part of our school community.

Ger was an extremely kind and generous woman who was always willing to offer advice and have a chat with me in the early days of my career. For that, I will be forever grateful, and I will remember her fondly. My deepest condolences to Ger’s family. May she rest in eternal peace.

The fondest of memories of a much beloved colleague and mentor. Geraldine, you were always there with advice, the best of chats and a dab hand at helping me fix a tippex error in the days when reports were handwritten. Condolences to Ms. Watters family. She was my 1st and 2nd year maths teacher in St. Pauls 2020-2021, she was a lovely teacher.
