Dear Daire, I shared an office with your mum in Clonskeagh and then Nutgrove for many years. She was a warm, caring woman with great character, always full of fun and a bit of devilment. She was extremely proud of you, her creative and handsome son. I was so sad to see her health fail over the years and am I am very sad to hear that she has passed away. Mind yourself Daire, I am sure her love, creativity and thoughtfulness will live on in you.

could you please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss? I never knew Mrs. Byrne but I was very touched by all the heartfelt words from her dear friends telling about her generosity, hospitality and ability to make all around her happy.
Perhaps the thought that not only Mrs. Byrne's loved ones sadly miss her but our God who gives life to all His creatures might comfort you. You can find it out from the Bible. In his prayer to Almighty God one just man raise and answer himself this question: "If a man die, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will yearn for the work of your hands" (Job 14:14, 15). Job felt sure that God longed for the day when He would resurrect him. You can also be sure of this when you learn about our future from the Bible.

Dearest Dáire, we are so sad to hear of the passing of your darling mum, Gerry. She was a great friend to us from the time I first met her in the supermarket with her beautiful little bundle of joy, you, just a couple of weeks old. We immediately struck up a conversation as I had by two bundles of joy and we had that common bond from the start. Gerry was so open and generous in her heart, with her time and in her home where she welcomed everyone. She held childrens birthday parties that were full of colour and lots of fun.
