Our sincere condolences to our friend Isobal, and to Tom and the entire Guckian and Mulreany families, on the passing of Geraldine . I always enjoyed listening to my Mom, Grainne Hurley (nee Hession), telling stories of childhood tales with her dear friend Geraldine. Though they lived far apart for most of their adult lives, they remained true friends for each other and exemplified Helen Keller's reflection: Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.

Geraldine was a true friend to our Parents John and Julia and us ten Children from Collooney. A generous, beautiful Lady whose good works were done privately and with Love .
Our Late Single , Aunt May , a Woman of very independent mind and ways , was housed and looked after by Geraldine for a number of years . A gift that will never be forgotten by our Family .
