Geraldine Guerin
(née O'Callaghan)

It is impossible to put into words how devastating what has happened truly is. She left this world far too soon. After fighting for so many years, it finally felt like it was her time to shine – but instead, everything was taken away in an instant, and it still feels unreal.

Geraldine was the warmest, most genuine person we have ever known. Her kindness, her presence, and the way she made people feel seen will stay with us forever. She will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Our thoughts are with her family, and especially with Graham and their beautiful daughter Nora, whom we have been so lucky to get to know.

You were not just a friend to us, Geraldine – you were family. Thank you for every laugh, every conversation, and every moment we shared. Your light will continue to live on through the love you gave and the lives you touched. You will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved.

It was with such great sadness I learnt of the sudden passing of Geraldine. My deepest sympathies to her husband Graham, her little girl Nora, her parents Michael and Helen, her brother Danny and family, and the extended O’Callaghan and Guerin families. Sincere condolences to her many friends and neighbours, thinking of her dear friend Humphrey.
It’s such a loss to lose someone so young and unexpectedly, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time and the months ahead.
I have many fond memories of her at school, playing music in the old school or at Fleadhs all over the country. A gifted musician. May the memories be a blessing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dilis.
