My dearest Geraldine,
No words exist to try and give meaning to what happened. Your laughter and shiny eyes echo everywhere. The huge energy for life and love for your family, can only be an example to all of us.
When I first came to Dublin and befriended Aisling Cheekpinch, nothing prepared me for the kindness and the huge welcome given to me by all the Mc Kee family especially YOU. Knowing I was far from my family you always had me over and took care of me like I was one of the family. Having me over at your house, drinking tea and chatting together. You also came to my farewell when I left for Brazil. You were warm with my family and also kind to my sister when she moved in with me.
Your kindness shall NEVER be forgotten and though people think you flew away- I know you are still here with all of us….right beside your beloved family. Ave Maria! ❤️

We are absolutely heartbroken over the loss of our amazing neighbour Geraldine.Geraldine was such a kind generous gentle person with the warmest smile and biggest heart. Who would have thought that a friendly wave from connie to geraldine over 30 years ago would have led to the begining of an amazing frienship between 2 familys. We have so many memories over the years as neighbours and there wasnt a new year that didnt start without a hug at midnight between the mckees and the potts. An amazing mother and u only have to meet the girls and brian og to see what an amazing job brian and geraldine did. And a loving granndmother that eyes would light up at the mention on her beloved finn. What a legacy to leave. We will watch out for ur family while u rest. Rest in peace geraldine xxx

Im so so sorry to hear about Geraldine. She was such a lovely person. We got to know each other many many years ago. Many many deep conversations were had over those years. Many problems solved after discussions/laughter/tears and lots of hugs of consolation on both sides. Im devastated for Brian and all their family as they were so close. Condolences to you all.
