Gerard BREHENY

I was saddened today to hear of Gerard 's death and I wish to convey my sympathy to his family and friends in Fuerty and elsewhere, and to the Fannon family in particular. A kindness that he richly deserved was always extended to him at Fannon's and, as a former recipient of that same kindness and hospitality, I can safely say that his life was richer for that. Good neighbours are the greatest of life's treasures and from reading the messages here, it's clear that Gerard was a kind and obliging neighbour himself. May he rest in peace.
'For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.'
