So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Gerry, he was such a lovely man. I spent a great day out with Gerry and my Dad in Croke Park many years ago, he had me in stitches all day, he was great craic and had such an infectious smile, he spoke so highly of his wife and two sons, he would never pass you then on the platform when heading to Dublin, always a big smile and wave, sincere condolences to Gerry's family and all who knew and loved him.

You were always in good form with a quick wit but also a genuine nice guy.

I knew Gerry for decades, he was an absolute gentleman and always loved the chats I had with him on Platform 1 at Drogheda Station. Always greeted me with a big smile and a bit of craic. Sadly missed.
