Sincere condolences to Ted, Soraya and the Garbutt Family on the sudden passing of Ger.He is back in the arms of his beloved mam Kathleen. RIP.

Sincere sympathy to Gerard's Dad, sister & extended family on his untimely death. I have fond memories of Gerard from my time working in the HIPE Unit in the ESRI. Most days Gerard was the first person I would meet at reception & I always walked away laughing, he was a lovely man. May the happy memories you have of Gerard help you through the weeks & months ahead. May Gerard RIP.

RIP, Gerard I remember the times when assisting the Playground staff, they were good times and we had them in abundance. That was a long time ago, rest now back in the arms of those that left before you. R.I.P.

I babysat both you and Soraya from when I was 12, both of you were like my littlest brother and sister, I went to Russia when I was 14 with the the young socialist pioneers for six weeks, your Da picks me up from Airport in his cortina and I was asked will ye mind Ger and Soraya tonight, it was a Sunday their night out 🤗 I love both of you so much and already miss how much you always made me laugh, you are beautiful, i will miss you always sleep tight my gorgeous boy I loved you then, I love you now and I'll love you always ❤️

I am so sad to learn of Gerard's passing. We worked together in the ESRI many years ago. They were great times and Gerard was the best company, full of fun and laughter. I still remember his beaming smile.
