Sad to read of Ger passing, always a lovely guy. Spent many an evening working with him in Dunnes and ball hopping about Young Munster.

Sincere condolences to all the clohessy family. Very sad to hear of Ger’s passing. I knew Ger and we became quite good friends, going for coffee, cake, chats and walks. Ger was a gentle giant, very generous, and a man of great wit and sense of humour. Ger’s laugh would lighten up the room. There was a lighter softer side to Ger, where he could talk about life, always in a sincere and considerate manner. A true gentleman. I never got around to helping you renew your passport to go to Rome. You’re in the kingdom of heaven now Ger. May your kind and gentle soul rest in eternal peace in heaven.
