well Ger sorry to hear of your passing .ive many memories of you all very good.like the time we worked in dingle ,having a few pints in the star bar .dont think the cork lads were too welcome.the guards called in at closing time to clear the house.you stood up on que and sang the national anthem stopping everyone in their tracks.that was 30 years ago.allways a gent slan go foill chris

I worked in Murphy’s engine overhaul in Langford row cork 1974 and I started my apprenticeship there and I remember Ger taking me under his wing and forever then such a gentleman ,a true and genuine friendship we had .my condolences to Ger’s family on his passing.may he rest in peace
