Ah so so sad to have heard of Gerry's passing. He serviced our boiler for years . The chats we had about our mutual travels were second to none. A truly gas character!

We lived two doors away from each other on Ballygall road, at a time when great support existed and lasting bonds were created. The “ Gerard’s” ( Gannon and Smith) were pal’s, our mothers were great friends and respect followed among us.
Gerard was highly regarded by us and although he was was warm and friendly, a quality l remember in him most, was his gentleness. A beautiful man that will be a sad loss.
